The Ballston Spa Soccer Club (BSSC) Travel program is available for ages U8-U18.
U8
The U8 age group does not play travel in the fall. The indoor season (6 months broken into three sessions) starts in November and continues through April. The teams play two indoor sessions (included in the price) with the option to play the third session. There is a spring travel season after the last indoor session. This season is ten games long and runs to mid-June. Each team will typically practice one night a week at a local gymnasium throughout the winter; however, practice times/nights are up to the coach's discretion. In the spring, the teams will practice at the Luther Forest Athletic Fields.
U10-U12
The U10 and U12 age groups play a six-game fall season run by CDYSL. This usually begins in September, with the games being on Sundays. The indoor season (6 months broken into three Afrim's league sessions) starts in November and continues through April. Some age groups may break into smaller teams for indoor sessions to enable more playing time; this extra cost would be divided per player as an add-on. There is a spring travel season after the last indoor session, run by CDYSL. This season is ten games long and runs to mid-June. Each team will typically practice one to two nights a week at a local gymnasium or Afrims in Malta throughout the winter; however, practice times/nights are up to the coach's discretion and club availability. In the fall and spring, the teams will practice at the Luther Forest Athletic Fields.
U14-U18
The U14, U16, and U18 age groups do not play travel in the fall. The indoor season (6 months broken into three sessions) starts in November and continues through April. The indoor sessions are a la carte, so each indoor session you choose to play will be paid for as the season goes along. There are a total of 3 indoor sessions. There is a spring travel season after the last indoor session. This season is ten games long and runs to mid-June. Each team will typically practice one to two nights a week at a local gymnasium or in the Afrims at Malta through the entire winter; however, practice times/nights are up to the coach's discretion. In the spring, the teams will practice at the Luther Forest Athletic Fields.
